THE SNORLAX REPORT, Part I: MIDWEST BAND & ORCH CLINIC

In case you didn't know, your old pal Snorlax has been representing Garritan Libraries here in Chicago at the Midwest Band & Orchestra Clinic. While I am certainly no Garritan, (I need the hat photoshopped in again, Gary) I am quite happy to show people how to use & enjoy the libraries. I also gave a talk--well-received--to highschool and college teachers on using Garritan to enhance teaching and learning of music.

Thought I'd share a couple shots of some luminaries that you may have HEARD about but not seen.

FIRST: Limerickmeister, terrific composer, all-around good guy: REBER CLARK

Next...from PYWARE, drillwriter extrordinaire, CRAIG HARMS:

More from PYWARE: Cayleen and Justin (bet you can sort out which is which)

Dr. DAVID PETERS, Professor of Music at Indiana U-Purdue U, Indianapolis (IUPUI)...Snor gave a talk at his international music tech conference last summer.

Last (for now) but CERTAINLY not least, DAVE and ALAN from McCORMICK'S.
McCormick's is our gracious host...MANY THANKS TO McCORMICK'S for the use of their space!!!

    More to follow...

    Your ol' pal,

Thanx, Dan, but I'm not done yet...still another 24 hours until I leave!!

I'd post pix of all the euphoniums at the clinic, but it would cause mad panic overload at the forum here from everybody wanting to check out hte euphoniums.

    Jim,

Thanks for the report and for being at the Midwest Band Show in Chicago.

It looks like you and the atendees are having a good time. Nice to see some pictures of the people there (especially Reber Clark).

I can think of no one better to represent us than a conneseuir of the mighty Euphonium.

If anyone is at the Midwest Show please drop by and say hello to Jim.

Have a FANTASTIC last day of the show Jim!

    My best,

    Gary
