Such a joyful piece of music. I envy your string work. I enjoyed it very much.

    PS.

Thank you, young man. Don't envy anything that I do. Get to work and do it better than I do.

    What about the bass pizz?

Very joyous music. Always like the way you burst out of the gates. Liked the arpeggiating accompanyment. Could see this extended as a 'Fiddle' concerto of sorts.

    Thanks very much, Daniel.

All of the girls in my life have also said that I am quick out of the gate (and a fast finisher...unfortunately).

    Hi Larry!

Well, I just knew I could count on you to end my evening on the upbeat... and you did just that.

This has a very polished, 18th century "court music" aura to it, but I also think I sensed a very slight hint of Texas here and there in the chord structure -- all deftly and creatively crafted with your uniquely masterful touch!

You're quite definitely an endless fountain of creative ideas, Larry. And I love what you do with those ideas.

Best of health to you in the coming year, my friend!

Thumbs up Re: "Excursion For Strings"

Lively Excursion! Enjoyed that very much.

I propose we lose Auld Lang Syne and start using this instead.

and Happy New Year to You also, Larry!
