Trio for Violin, Clarinet, and Cello (Sirulnikoff)

    Hi All,

This is a piece I wrote many years ago, inspired mainly by Berg's 'Lyric Suite'.

    It is set up as:

GPO Violin 2 Strad Solo KS
GPO Violin 2 Strad Pizz Solo
    GPO Bb Clarinet Solo
GPO Cello 3 (Gofriller) Solo KS
    GPO Cello Pizz Solo

It includes quite a bit of ponticello, which, unfortunately, I couldn't incorporate.

    I hope you like it.

I'm a great admirer of Alban Berg, Jack. They say Berg is
an acquired taste. And that's true. But once one is so
enjoined (or, some say, afflicted), there's no going back.

The influence of Berg is well evident in this piece; very
well done, Jack, excellent writing! And while one might
hope for better conrol of articulation, room, and other
factors in the rendering, I found this quite engaging, one
    end to the other.

Much applause on a fine piece!

    My best,
