    "Just An Old-Fashioned Waltz"

    Y'all,

Here is my "Just An Old-Fashioned Waltz", featuring flute and harpsichord from GPO.

The composition makes no pretense of being anything other than what the title infers.

    Regards to everybody,

I'd wished Bach made his Die Kunst der Fuge as playfull like this one.
Really a relief after heavy Fugues and Symphonic stuff (César Franck).
Nice tune to end the day.....

    Thanks,

    Raymond

I thoroughly delightful little romp. Sort of reminds of a carousel for some reason.

Enjoyed your waltz. It has a light care free mood to it which contrasts nicely with with the current very serious tone of the primaries.

Or maybe it just floats above all that stuff one tries to avoid stepping in.

    Thanks for the diversion.

Larry, you're such an abundantly cheerful fellow!

Me and the Missus will have to try this one out
tomorrow; you know how we love a good waltz.
I'd go wake her up and give this a spin now, but,
well, she gets testy when I do that...

    Hi Larry,

Your playful side at it's best! Even my "missus" (a fine flautist herself, I should add!) enjoyed this with me as I fired it up in our music office. A fine way to end my evening!

    Thanks, my friend!

    Hi Larry,

Nice waltz. I'll have it in my head all night!! The rhythmic interplay between flute and harpsichord is highly effective.

    Best,
    Reegs
