    Nice job on this, Darwin.

Interesting to hear the two together in
a very "exposed" relationship like this.

    Hi David,

Interesting to hear the two together in a very "exposed" relationship like this.
Though definitely a little less exposed than when either is featured playing alone. Now that's exposed.

    Thanks for checking in!

    Hi, Darwin

I really enjoyed your other current string piece on the board, - this one is great too. Short but sweet - and such a vivid demonstration of how truly musical and just plain miraculous these Garritan string libraries are.

A great little composition. The two instruments sound absolutely wonderful together. I simply cannot get enough of these two instruments. You may post more...

Yes, the Strad and Gofer are really inspiring. I only wish there was a viola to go with them. Maybe the Garritan String Quartet (with a second sampled violin) will come along some day. We can only dream...

Thanks LouisD, a third (and final) duet will be posted soon, something more contemporary.

    Darwin

I really wished I could have afforded these 2 during the go-round.
I also enjoyed your last one and this one shows the great sound you can get from them.

Short and sweet but very enjoyable.

    Well done

As it happens, I completely missed the group buy from Xmas 2006, so I set some funds aside and made it a point to participate in the go-round this year. String duets are fun to do.

Really nice work here with the 2 solo instruments. They really compliment each other well. Listened to this 3 times and enjoyed it more each time which is a compliment. I especially enjoyed the last third a bit more for some reason. (maybe more variety-don't know)

What a great sound! This really showcases those two fine instruments, and works very well in balance. Really enjoyed this one!
