Black Bass gets top 5 score in Electronic Musician!

In February 2008 issue of Electronic Musician Scarbee Black Bass has received the rare top score 5 (out of 5) and was designated an "EM Hot Pick". The review is very positive - we are so grateful...

"With Black Bass, Scarbee takes an evolutionary leap to the next level with more-intensive sampling and programming and a much-easier-to-use interface.", says reviewer Babz and concludes:

"Black Bass is one of the most realistic, expressive, and easy-to-use sampled instruments I have ever played."

    Congrats, Thomas!

Very well deserved, too - it's a great instrument. How's the Blue Bass coming along?

    Excellent News.

So by summer I suppose you will be back in the Gigastudio camp w/ a GVI based version?

I am a loyal fan of your works from way back when, I have your electro mechanical stuff in Gigastudio, and a recent K-based instrument.

Either way I am prepared, Kontackt or Gigastudio 4, chance favors the prepared mind.

If Gigastudio one day will support graphics and scripts so we could do stuff like black bass it would be cool, but so far NI is the only ones who have done this.

    Hey Guys,

In fact all our products have received at least one 5/5 score...

Congratulations! Black Bass serves as a model for how virtual instruments should be designed.

We just need to get to the point where ram is not a bottleneck.

Well 64 bits support helps a lot - hopefully it will soon be utilized more.

Ps. thanks for comment - much appreciated

Yep, it is too bad the transition to 64 bits is rough (and Vista is not so good).
