A real nice one. It got my toe tapping.

It sounds kind of like a Bach- spanish trumpet mix.

I think I recognize the JABB brass here.

    Huzzah! First reply!

EDIT: Meh, someone replied right as I was typing out this post...

You seem to have a certain "style". I think I hear the same qualities "Just An Old Fashioned Waltz" has.

*sigh* I'm failing to come up with a complement that makes me sound like I know what I'm talking about...

    But, ANYWAY, I like it!
string quartet (ˈstriŋ kwȯr-ˈtet) n. a good violinist, a bad violinist, an ex-violinist, and someone who hates violinists, all getting together to complain about composers

That's OK, young man. I think I know what you're trying to say. I suppose that everyone has his or her own "style" of composing. Mine is "old man" style.

    Thanks for your message.

    Regards,

    Larry

Quoting Larry "I suppose that everyone has his or her own "style" of composing. Mine is "old man" style."

Maybe because you recently celebrated your birthday you said this, feeling occasionally as an old man, but this isn't an old man's tune. Lively, jumping, joyeusement, etc.... Makes my thursday!

    Greetings,
I am pleased that I "made" your Thursday, Mr. Ray.

Thank you for the good words. My best to you there in "tulip-land".

Loved it! Fine duo writing for the brass plumbing,
my friend. Parts of the melody reminded me of
a polka of which I'm quite fond (the name of which
escapes me at the moment) -- which, of course,
made it all the more rewarding!

    My best,
