Where do I get some fast Woodwind Runs?

    Ala: John Williams, Silvestri, Shostakovitch.

Those big woodwind ensemble scales, with those cutting piccolo lines?
    Any company make those?

Look at VSL and Westgate. Both include runs, but more importantly, legato.

Pasting in runs is limited. I've used them on occasion, but I always here a disconnect to them. With a good legato you can play or program runs at will.

Somebody released a dedicated flute performance lib a while back. (ProjectSAM?) If you prefer cut and paste to playing/programming it in, that might be the best solution.

I just read elsewhere that they've just released some wind ensemble performance stuff. Might be just the ticket...check out their site.

Project Sam has a set of flute licks/runs and a second set of woodwind effects available for download (@ $148). Hope that helps!

I was just on Sam website, I find it hard to know what they have?

Do they have Major, Minor, Diminished, Arpeg?? 3 Notes to Tonic, 4 notes to tonic? I am not sure what they have hard to tell by just the mp3s.

Thank you all for your help!
