TCHAIKOVSKY Marche Slave and New Website

    Hello, friends.

The new Rusty Soul Flea Orchestra website is alive!

For this post, I invite you to listen to Marche slave, Op. 31 by P.I. Tchaikovsky. Click on the Listen button on the right side of the page.

Feel free to browse the website and give your comments.

I look forward to your feedback!

    Thanks, Jason

Sounds great. Nice blend. Though I think the horns could be louder in general.

    Excellent, Jason:

You have a really good command of Finale and have proven
to yourself that you have a great music with which to compose.

Very enjoyable Tchaikowsky--one of my favorite romantic composers.

    Jason,

It took a while, but I was able to give a listen. Very nice job, and all within Finale makes it even more impressive.

I'm on a Mac and had a few problems hearing the files. Using Firefox or Safari, I couldn't get either one to load your mp3 files. When I tried it with IE, it worked. But most Mac users don't us IE anymore.

Your Finale links didn't link to the MakeMusic site, were they supposed to?

Congratulations on the launch of your website!

Some really really nice stuff to listen to on there as well - thanks.

How do I stop your player without leaving your site/the music page?!

Just about to complain about it all coming out of one channel, but had a cable work loose with all the excitement.

Thanks for the heads up on the bugs, Jeff! I will be setting up the site for downloading MP3s, but I wanted to keep the launched edition simple, then add on. I'll also fix the Finale link, that should just pop straight to the site like the Garritan link.

    Excellent work with this, Jason.

Able interpretation, and fine rendering of this
Tchaikovsky gem... one of my favorite composers
from the era, by the way. Quite a rousing good
    job on the closing, particularly!

Good to see another Finale practitioner doing
such fine work. If memory serves, this generally
runs a good ten minutes or so in performance --
    quite a lot of notation!

    My best,

The bugs should be out, so for Mac users, the direct link to the MP3 should get it done. Thanks!
