    Spring Frolic

Well, once again, I had pile of unused notes & symbols, so I thought I would see what I could make of them. I need to take a break from the drudgery of creating a good looking score of Transformation Sonata II. So here it is.

Spring Frolic -- Link removed 6 March 08. Piece is withdrawn, rewritten, posted in new form with title of Wampus Cat I, II, III.

About 4 minutes. GPO Steinway, of course. It is Allegretto Grazioso. I am not.

I am happy you didn't sweep these unused notes under the carpet.

I can feel the coming spring in this and look forward to it as well.

    Well done

You had lots of good notes and symbols to use up.

This did have a spring feel to it.

We've been getting some spring like weather here in the PNW the last couple of weeks.

Your piece fit the mood perfectly.

You know, for the first minute or so, I was wondering
if this was indeed you, Richard -- but the Wayland
style soon redeemed itself, if ever so tonally.

Nice romp! I have a surfeit of F##'s and several
unused fff rests around, by the way, if you should
    need any.

    My best,

    Re: Spring Frolic

Thanks, guys. But in a short while, I will remove this piece and replace it with another, "Wampus Cat Trilogy", which uses this piece as a starting point. Actually, as ending point, as that it where it appears in the new piece. I had to thin many chords because of the speed, and in the process, some of the "wrong note consonance" vanished.
