Shadow Destiny - A Musical About Neil Diamond

My friend and I are writing a historically accurate musical about Neil Diamond. He does words, I do music. It's a really beautiful piece, with lots of foreshadowing in the music...I guess....

This play is about Neil Diamond fixing America's Educational System. This first scene has three parts to it. The first is the overture. The second part, when is music gets kinda dark-sounding, is the background music for Neil Diamond talking to America. The third part is the song Fixing America's Educational System.

    America: Why, it's 1532.
Neil Diamond: Silly me! I should know what year it is. I'm the president of time!
America: Yes you are! Oh, BTW, the school systems here suck.
Neil Diamond: Oh no! We'd better fix that. Find me 7 tons of dead orphans and I'll get to work building a school that will change all that.
    America: k

Scene two. There isn't any music up till the song I Was on TV (which is probably the weirdest-sounding thing I've ever composed).

    Cransworth

    Good music.

The play sounds like it is based on historical facts as well.

Odd, I seem to have forgotten that Neil took out Hitler.

    Certainly a unique concept, Cransworth.

    Interesting idea, though I admit I don't
follow a bit of the script... lol!

Some nice writing in this; I will look forward
to hear how it develops further.

    My best,
