    Tango fo Violin and Piano

It's been a while since I posted, a few new projects going on simultaneously, but none nearing completion just yet!
This tango was originally a piano composition, and I now have arranged it for violin (GPO Strad.) and piano (GPO Steinway), key E Major.

I had a couple of nice listens to your Tango.

It leans towards the soft and romantic for me. Close dancing.

A nice melodic structure and you've found a very good violinist.

A fine tango, Eugene, much enjoyed. Even
took the wife for a spin or two around the
    room with it...

    Keep it coming!

    My best,

Thanks Phil and David for your feedback on the Tango.
Although I don't play the violin , I find it reasonably easy to get acceptable sounds from the Guarnerius and Stradivarius GPO violins (with a bit of care). No doubt violinists will extract much more out of those samples.
It's interesting to try a composition with different instrumentation - often the character changes with the different instrumental timbres. Al part of a learning curve!
    GPO/JABB libraries are so educational.

Your tango is filled with gentleness and grace... it sounds, to my heart, as a mature and wise look to life, to its moments of joy and tragedy... all of this, with a beginning of smile that only years of experience can give.
This is what your piece conveys to me...

Thank you for sharing, it's been a really pleasant listening! ^_^

    Eugene,

Simply quaint, but very clever... and certainly romantic in an endearing, "old-fashioned' way. This was a joy to listen to. Thank you for posting it!
