In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

I don't like de udder kind it gives too moo sound. That's a great reply, reberclark!
Here's the gig ... I was sent a copy of Samplitude SE V9 to work midi and see what I think overall and for the most part it's going fine except being a limited addition, the included reverb "VariVerb" really is garbage sounding on tracks or on master post or pre.
So, seeing that this is on PC and not me unwrapped Mac, I'm in the market for a great reverb with impulse, limpulse, hispulse, herpulse, pulsepluspulse, nopulse not goodt.

When I use Impulse Response I use Perfect Space that came with SONAR. It plays any IRs you can get ahold of - I go for the freebies. BUT if you've got the bucks I understand that Altiverb (http://www.audioease.com/Pages/Altiv...iverbMain.html) is the top of the line. The pic on their website makes it look like hardware but it isn't. It's software. I am a PC user not a MAC user. Hope you find it!

Is there a dictionary around where I can find this kind of spelling?

The conventional wisdom (I wouldn't hold myself as an expert) I hear is that most IR "engines" will produce the same results from the same impulses. Some have more flashy/user-friendly/maniputable interfaces than others. That being the case, I bought Pristine Space (the higher-end version of Perfect Space that ships w/Sonar) and some very nice impulses from Samplicity. Altiverb has a wonderful reputation, but I have a "no-dongles" policy, so that's a non-starter for me.

In addition, I also bought CSR from IKMultimedia and the plate reverb for my UAD-1. Between them, I feel pretty well covered.

I just picked up Altiverb a couple of days ago, and you have the option to get an iLok or to issue a challenge response, which eliminates the need for a dongle at all!!! I don't own a laptop, so I just authorized my the hard drive which locks the software to one machine. The beautiful part is, if you change your mind later, you can contact them and move the registration to an iLok at that time.
