I just finished a short (2:37) dramatic sports documentary for my swim coach - he recently broke the world record in the Men's 70-74 group in the 50m butterfly.

NFL Films does this kind of stuff all the time. It was an interesting challenge. How do you make the person larger than life without making a self-parody? And for older athletes, how do you merge traditional music for retrospective scenes with a more modern, dramatic style for the current content?

Anyway, here's the finished product (click image to view):

And here's the film I made for Bert's previous attempt. (Somebody was asking about the metalic Matrix sound in another thread. This features one of the G-Town anvils - it's not as deep as the Matrix sound, but could be detuned downward.)
