    Steinway for Audiophiles

Steinway has diversified into the sound system market. Get a load of the price tag.

It looks great. It sounds better. With these systems I always wonder if people really hear the difference. Even a concert hall isn't flawless. So what is the input? But, still it looks nice. Rather go for the real thing..... but I would go for the Erard or Blüthner.

    How much?

I looked at their PDF brochure.... speakers weigh 384 lbs. Doesn't say if that is one or both. The control stand is over 120 lbs. with gold plated knobs

Also, a technician comes out and sets it up. They include a mic to measure room properties and the system is tuned for the room.

Looks beautiful. There are only a hand full of places where you can see this system. Don't think it will be at Best Buy anytime soon

When the graphics finish fading, there's a link called "Reviews".

Wired Magazine states the price is $150,000.

I didn't know Steinway also manufactured kitchen tables . Pedals not included, you have to purchase them separately......

[tongue firmly in cheek] Great! Now you can hear with crystal clarity recordings that were originally mixed and monitored on Yamaha NS-10's!!
