    Smile "Two Flutes"

    Y'all,

Here is my wacky work, "Two Flutes". All instruments are GPO.

Today I rewrote parts of it, added some measures and remixed it. It has an "extended" coda. It's all in fun.

    Regards,

    Yes, much fun!

Nice, entertaining piece . . . with some "somewhat familiar" quotes.

Delightful presentation, for which I thank you!

You have a knack for creating piano/harpsichord or any keyboard accompaniment.

    My gosh.

string quartet (ˈstriŋ kwȯr-ˈtet) n. a good violinist, a bad violinist, an ex-violinist, and someone who hates violinists, all getting together to complain about composers

    Larry,

smile, I would like to listen to this piece played on a "Screenplay Organ" (is this the right translation from "Drehorgel?)

Verry cool my friend, I enjoyed listening!

Are you referring to the type of organ that was played as accompaniment to the old "silent" movies long ago?

I am glad that you liked this Herr Gunther. Thank you for listening, meine Freunde.

    Hi Larry,

You're certainly a pro at making "fractured harmonies" work! They do work great in this, as do the twisted quotes; I loved 'em! Gunther's right about the "silent movie" feel to this, especially the playfully dramatic minor section towards the middle.

You also did a really effective rendering job on this, Larry! Great stuff!!

Hope you're doing well... or getting close to it, at least!

Nice one Larry, great fun, full of energy and well crafted. Did I hear a few quotes from Beethoven here and there? If so, I think he would have approved. Very entertaining. Thanks for sharing.

    Regards, Graham
