    Introducing - The Garritanizer!

Hi! Long time no post - the go-round sale took a lot out of me!

Here's small PC VST plug-in that may be of some use - or perhaps something similar exists already, in which case i humbly apologize. Anyway, read all about it (and download) here:

I like to play straight into my sequencer and us GM sounds to do this, then convert to JABB.

How do I place the garritanizer in Cubase. There doesnt seem to be an option for inserting a plug in before JABB, or am i miising it.

It looks like a v useful tool if we can make it work

Sorry, it was years and years since my Cubase days, so I hope someone else can help out.

If it helps, it is a PC VST standard effects plug that only processes MIDI - but it can also pass a stereo audio signal straight through in case the sequencer so requires. It is NOT a MIDI FX plugin, or whatever they're called, which I seem to vaguely remember from my Cubase years.

Sorry again - we have this fabulous high-level development environment called SynthEdit in the PC world, and that is just about as far as my coding skills stretch in this area!

Hey, pethu, good to see you're still at it!

Looks like cool stuff for leveraging old composition files...

I think Gary should make a utility like this, only cross-platform. As of now, it is useless for me on the Mac.
Garritan on GarageBand '08 using Intel iMac with 1.5G RAM

    *desevering bump*

    Pethu,

This is a fantastic utility and very useful tool. Thanks for writing it and posting it.

There are many people that have legacy GM files and to be able to use those files with GPO,JABB and CoMB will be very helpful.

    Thanks again!

    Gary
