Very cool talent! Sounds a bit more like a saxophone to me, but sort of hovers somewhere between.

The way the sound is produced would put it in the category of a reed. Sort of a rubberwind.

An amazing balloon organ! Sounds like some alien bagpipes (but in a good way. ) Make sure you watch through the end of his performance.

Gives new meaning to that lyric by the crows in Dumbo...

    heard a rubber band..."

Maybe an addition to the Jazz and Big Band sample library?

Shoot, all those years practicing on a trumpet and over $7000 in instruments and all I had to go and do is buy some leaf lettuce from Giant Eagle and wail away. Shoot! Dang! Shoot - somebody get me a rubber band (I'm done with all those marching bands!)

Peter Schickele should hire this guy and orchestrate Quodlibet For Small Rubber Band and Orchestra.
