Romantic Days- Yep, more fantasy soundtrack :)

    Romantic Days MP3

Here is a light and delicate piece from the Golden Age (radio fantasy) project. This is not necessarily a love theme, but rather an accompaniment to happier moments like characters coming together or seeing something beautiful (like an orange sunset with dragons flying overhead, etc).

Main ingredients are GPO and the Solo Strad, with some horns from other libraries. Thanks for listening!

    Sam

Light and delicate is a good preparatory statement for this. This piece flows along very well and I can almost see the dragon in the distance.

    Neat stuff

Thanks guys! It was hard to find a good balance between sounding sincere and sounding corny with this piece, and I wasn't sure that I liked how it turned out, but your comments are definitely encouraging!

Argh, my server was apparently down for a while, it seems to be working fine again now though... lol

I'd tried earlier without success, Sam; but this
    downloaded fine, just now.

Lovely job on this... brings to mind far away lands
I've romanced in, and reminiscences thereof. As
always, Sam, the rendering is excellent; and matched
with superbly dramatic, cinematic writing. Just
    gorgeous!

I have the impression this is leading forward...
    will we hear more?

Sam - Well done on this. You have told me a story! Nice transitions - not overstated or understated for film music.

Detected a bit of distortion on the crescendos but it could be on my end too or the connection.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it Any problem with the crescendos is probably a fault of mine during composition, sometimes I have trouble getting dynamics to sound right, heh

    Sam:

Very well done. I like your melodic flow in this and the
orchestration is very appropriate to its title.

    Great work, Sam.
