    Wink Just for fun-- Organ

    Hey,

I wanted to post this just for fun really.
This is the march 'Blaze Away' played using two GPO organs, tuned differently to each other but playing on the same track to produce a classic fairground organ.
There is also a glockenspiel and xylophone added to the same track.
(I must say this is not my arrangement! This is mearly a raw MIDI file played straight through GPO using Sibelius 4.)

I hope you enjoy this fun piece

    Regards,

    Dan.

Sounds just like the fairgrounds. The out of tuneness lends authority to the inexpensiveness of the organs, but almost too far out of tune (just like the real thing).

You make Charles Ives proud bringing us a real taste of Americana from the past. You took me back to Bloomington, IL, 1930's, and either the circus or a carnival was playing at O'Neils Park. Admission was a dime and a coke was a nickel.

An interesting effect, Dan. When I first read the
description I was wondering what I might be let
in for... lol. But this works quite well!

Eons ago in an ancient land, I apprenticed for a
short while with a pipe organ builder -- and this
    does sound authentic to me.

    My best,
