The samples in JABB are recorded at 44.1, 16-bit.
KP2 should be impartial to your soundcard settings, however I would recommend using a project bit depth of 24-bit to give your mixes extra headroom. The sample rate is far less important. 48 or 44.1 is fine.
thanks much - some hard to find details here - only asked because i had to call Sony support (Acid Pro 6 acts up with JABB) and they blamed it on this, which is typical .
I am using 16/44 because when i was using 24bit, i was getting INTERMITTENT, STRANGE out of phase artifacts - which were impossible to trace (on Renders) - could be Soundcard, or could be DX-VST FX mismatching, or dither inside effects - anyway, when using 16bit, it seems to not do it....nightmare !!!
I LOVE 24bit, but i can NOT stand tinny, out of phase anomalies !!
