    Closure

This is a piece I did a couple of years ago for a very short film. I don't think anything ever came of the film, but as the title suggests it was about a past love and the memories and feelings associated with that relationship.

Anyway, here is Closure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Steve,

This is a very expressive piece, well suited for a movie!
Quite a lot is happening there, moving through dark and mysterious, suspense and remembering, and then back to reality.
Thanks for sharing this with us!

I really liked this. Although it could be a tone poem, it does have the sound of a film score in it. Whichever, it really tells a story. Sounds great.

This has some nice dissonances in the opening and then follows thru with some equally nice harmonies.

It builds to a very satisfying peak and then finishes off with a convincing closure.

    well done

Steve, a fascinating listen, with migrations across
emotional ranges and terrains of broad scope all
accomplished beautifully... almost a Hitchcock feel
to some of it; tempered with lush, Romantic
climaxes. Fine writing, film or otherwise!

    My best,

Thank you all for the listen and comments.

I should mention that I used a sequencer to render this piece. While I'm a die-hard notation guy, I was surprised at the control I had over the mix, etc. when using the sequencer. I think it's going to be part of my workflow from now on.

    Thank you again for listening.
