The music is inspired by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, Michael!

oh, you mean - Príncipe de los Ingenios .?!

Well, wonderful work throughout! Didn't know if you took some themes from DON QUIXOTE or not. A very light and less bombastic departure for you in resent days. Very much enjoyed!

Fredrik, I think this is perhaps the first work of yours
I have heard outside the context of the full orchestra.

Very beautiful writing for the viola, in these (one of my
favorite instruments; too little used)... and the handling
and management of the piano part -- keeping it well
out of the way of the viola, yet providing it thematic
relevance and independence both at once -- this is
    quite nicely accomplished.

    Very well done, Fredrik!

    All my best,

    HI David,

    "Yes David!
In the poetry of Cervantes, I found an opportunity to express a kind of melancholic nakedness that could be created between two instruments, or two souls like Don Quixote and Pancho Sanchez!"
