    "Grande Valse"

    3/4 Lovers,

    This is my "Grande Valse".

All of the instruments are GPO except the "French" horns which are from the Kontakt 3 sample library.

    Thumbs up Re: "Grande Valse"

    Larry:
You ARE a master of this compositional style. You becoming a master of orchestration.
Have you done any seasonal things? I would like to hear a Halloween and/or Christmas piece from you.
Your stuff is always a musical pleasure.

Thanks, Mr. Steve. You are too kind to an old person.

I have written and arranged many Christmas works through the years but never for this forum. Maybe I can muster enough strength to do something of this nature soon.

    My best,

    You always deliver a great waltz, Larry;
no exception, here -- grand, indeed!

Will try it out with the Missus later.

    Hi Larry,

More dramatic and grandiose trhan your usual, and it works just great! The relentless 8ths in the strings give this great impetus, and those horns bolster the dramatic effect perfectly.

This one almost slipped by me for some reason... glad I caught it! Top rate Alexander material!

    Hi Larry,

    a fine composition!

Ok, here and there a little bit more dynamic and tempo changes would let it sound a little bit better, smile.

    I like 3/4 happyly pieces.
