    Lightbulb South Pacific

    Re: South Pacific

I enjoyed this, Fredrik -- definitely evoked in my mind
a sense of the South Pacific islands (a few of which I've
had the good fortune to visit over the years).

Well done, with thoughtful and effective use of the
orchestra to aptly set the scene, my friend.

    My best,

    Thumbs up Re: South Pacific

    Fred:
Very nice work. I heard the boat whistles and saw the sun setting on the silhouettes of the islands. You've become quite eclectic and I hear real growth.

    Hi again Steve,

I have decided that one day, I will visit one of those wonderful islands together with my wife.
After having seen "South Pacific" with music by Rodgers and Hammerstein,"Bali Ha'i" etc... I just had to compose something

Thanks for your inspiring words Steve,

    Fred

Fredrik, Great work on this composition! I too could see, hear, and (almost) smell the Pacific. I enjoyed listening to this piece, very nice balance and flow. I liked your use of the marimba also. Regards, John

    Hi John,

This trip started in my mind some weeks ago! Once I started to play around with the marimba, suddenly I imagined myself being somewhere in the South Pacific. I'm still there

    Thanks for lending an ear,

    Fred
