    Sonart Audio Trumpet

    Hi,

Since Trumpet have been a hot topic recently with The Trumpet I saw this recently and with the cheap price coming with it I was thinking if it was any good. It says to be using scripting as well. There is no audio example, so I was wondering if anybody tried it yet.

    Thanks.

is this "sonart" place a trust place? have anyone used some of their products before? maybe is a good offer, but the same site sell samples for sms celular phones...
The fact that they say they use scripts, dont means it`s comparable with "the trumpet". An script can be used for very simple tasks, and you still can say "it use scripts". Since they sell the same for soundfont and other formats, i guess it dont use advanced scripting of kontakt.
But for $29, if the place is a trust one, you cant lose too much, and maybe you get some nice samples!

Rather synthy in my opinion. Sounds like FM synthesis.

I don't really know much about the site, but I noticed some text on the Trumpet picture on it's product page:

"More than 5.1GB of new material"

Then, in big letters below that it lists the sample library as being 3.2GB.

    How does that work?

Is a new way to compute the GB (that in this case means "Great Bargain!")

Sonart Audio 'TRUMPET' - Featuring over 5,150 24bit samples & 144 Patches! More than 3.3 Gb of New Trumpet Sounds!
So, "5150" samples are equivalent to 5.1 GB, appear to be...

    Blimey, that's awful.
They'd have to pay me to use it.
