I am looking for a VST synth for under $100

I have taken inventory of my VST's and would like to buy another synths. (I have a lot of the orchestral/"real" sounds covered) I own Atmosphere, Vapor, Albino 3, CronoX, FM8, Kore2, Korg Digital Legacy collection, Ultrafocus, Cult Sampler and X-Phrase. Sounds like a lot when I type them out but I always seem to use Atmosphere the most. I also use Albino and CronoX for the arpeggios which are nice. I downloaded the Z3ta demo and it sounds pretty cool for $100 bucks. I was also thinking about the Waldorf PPG bundle for around $80 (I like 80's style sounds). I would also like a synth that has lots of arpeggio stuff but not the single song makers (i.e. plays a melody) just some cool pulsing, stabbing stuff. Any other options in the $100 range would be appreciated.

    All the very best,

Hi, I don't have this one personally, but I just read about it on another forum. There is also a free version, with fewer features. Good Luck, John

Helix, Triangle II, and Crystal definitely get my vote in the Best Free Synths category (and the Best Synths category as well).

Z3ta+ is also a very nice synth. EXTREMELY powerful. Many useful presets, too. One nice perk of it as well is that its engine installs as an effect plug-in, so you can z3ta-ize your own source material (or other synths).

    Hope this helps,
    Reegs
