    A Classical/jazz Sax Quartet

My Sax Quartet has evolved into a contrast of Latin, Jazz and Classical
    treatment.

    Gary,

Interesting: great "runs" and sudden "stops"; Very unexpected and enjoyed. Seems light hearted and a bit comical with great rhythm, counterpoint, and staccato "pops". You seem to explore the entire instrument's spectrum with a wide variety of moods - very eclectic in character, maybe?

    Great job!

Just like Michael said, I also see the comedy in this.

    A playful tune.

    Well done

    Thanks for listening, Michael.
This quartet is so different in each movement that it takes a
    run of the STYLE spectrum.
    I'm glad you enjoyed.

    Thanks for listening, Ron.
As long as you're not laughing at it....

An interesting excursion across styles, with its quizzically
ironic turns. To me, it seems more like you observing youth
across the years than the young man speaking, and with that
certain sardonicism we arrive at only with age, I think... lol.

    My best,

The journey has continued and become somewhat
altered as I have worked on this piece.

    Hi Gary,

I know that you've spent much time refining this (I believe you did post another version of this once before?), and that hard work is very evident in this current incarnation.

I really enjoyed the contrasting styles, all of which you executed with aplomb. I particularly like sax ensemble stuff, and your offering was exceptionally enjoyable to my ears! Thanks for your diligent work on this and offering the results to us here.

    Thanks for listening, Danny.
The latest version is on pg 2-2nd & 3rd movements of the sax quartet.
I need to change a few poor chords in the 2nd and still have a ways to go in the 3rd.
I'm leaving this week for a JAZZ BAND camp (for Codgers) in Vermont. Play in a Dance Band for about 6 hrs a day and perform on Thursday eve.
    See U at TBA>
