An interesting review of the CME midi progressive pedal

I found this link casually, but since many users has asked about progressive midi pedals, specially for the use with the steinway, i believe that you can found interesting.
The review is positive, but it points some weaks of it:

Re: An interesting review of the CME midi progressive pedal

Thanks for posting this link! I am using the CME pedal (USB connection)with Windows XP service pack 2 and it is behaving pretty good so far. The biggest complaint I have is the owner's manual leaves much to be desired. The Chinese to English translation didn't turn out so well. I found the CME website and the forum, and there are some clear instructions to update the firmware contained in a thread there. I paid $99 for mine, and I am happy with it.
Many members are using a single pedal and adding in the CC # to their sequences when they have need for sostenuto or una corde. So it isn't a must, but it is very nice to sit at the controller and pretend you are at a Grand Piano.

Thumbs up Re: An interesting review of the CME midi progressive pedal

Many thanks for the review. This will come handy when purchasing a midi piano later on.
