    OT-Dutch delicatesse - to Snorlax

You are wet? The herrings are great this year. The new season started last week. Lekker, vettig, niet zout, heerlijke texture. Een hemelse lekkernij.

I had raw herring with pickles and onion when I was there (a long time
    ago).

It was an outside kiosk/stand. I stood around for a while watching otherwise normal looking people ordering and eating them.

Finally, I summoned up all my courage and gave it a try. It was very good!
    Sort of a Dutch sushi!

    Enjoy, Raymond

    Hi Raymond!!

Yes I am very wet...it will be a few months before our life is back to normal, and life must go on as we try to recover from the damage.

I am sure that Dutch people understand very well the problems that unwanted water can bring.

And I do thank you for the reminder that herring is available and "gezond & lekker" as it says in the photo!!

I will be posting occasionally in the next while but most of my efforts will be directed at getting back to normal. I even put the euphonium down for a couple of days!!
