    Francis,

I have upgraded from K2 to K3 but will probably only start using it when it becomes 64bit as I have noticed an increase in CPU usage over K2.

I will eventually upgrade, but I need to replace my main DAW computer first. I'm still running a G4 dual 800 and it doesn't meet the minimum requirements for either Kontakt 3 or Logic 8.

So for now, I am stuck using Kontakt 2 and Logic 7.

+1 here. I don't use it often but it works well for me when I do (inside Sonar 7.)

I have no desire to upgrade to Kontakt 3. Kontakt 2 works just fine, and 3 doesn't offer any really improvements worthy of upgrading IMO. In fact, with every update it seems NI stuff gets more CPU intensive, so if I'm just using it as a sample player, I want it to be as CPU efficient as possible.

I'll stick with K2 until there is a real reason to upgrade.

I think K3 is the coolest sampler since.... K2!
    IMO K3, runs smoother.
I haven't noticed any cpu difference. If there is a higher use, it's not really noticeable on my end.
K3 doesn't have the 4096 sample limit per nki that K2 had, which is really super cool!
64bit K3 will surely be great, but it's still a worthy upgrade now IMO.

I haven't upgraded yet, but it is mainly because I haven't gotten around to it... yet.

I haven't upgraded yet either. I suppose I will, eventually (or just skip to K4). It's certainly not in the lineup anytime soon though.

I will only buy the upgrade to K3 when it goes 64bit. Perfectly happy with k2 here for now!
