    Re: Fredonia

I'll skip my Groucho impersonation (even though it's quite
good, if I do say so myself... lol).

A well done Fredonia, Fredrik; and doughnuts are always
appreciated. Seriously, the opening of this I liked
especially... that hymn-like sonority to it.

    Best,

Fred - enjoyed the harmonies on this one. Strong but thoughtful. The name Fredonia reminds me of a guy I used to know called Fred Free. However, we used to call him, Fred For Nothing. He was quite the character and had a great sense of humour.

    Hi Del,

There is actually a junior football team in Jamestown, called "Fredonia". I didn't know this when I composed it though, 2 month's ago.

First of all, it was the movie "Duck soup", with Marx Brothers that inspired me to write a kind of hymn of a fantasy nation.

In the movie they talk about a nation called Freedonia. So I changed it to Fredonia.

    Regards,

    Fred
