    Music Contest


    The entries are in and it's time to cast your vote for the winner of this year's July 4th and Canada Day Music Contest.

    There are some 18 fabulous patriotic tunes and it is going to be difficult selecting a winner.

    Cast your vote for those songs you feel are the best. You can vote up to three songs. The entry with the most votes will win a Garritan library of their choosing.

    I am about halfway through listening to these the 1st time. I must say there is some nice writing here.
    I do have a problem listening to #7 - "You're a Grand Old Flag" by bmpsound. I get a "file not found - error" when I click on the piece to listen to it. To be fair to all, I would like to hear all of them. (Though, I'm sure etLux's rousing cymbal crash can certainly not be beat.

    OMG! Thanks for reporting this. It looks like the link got mangled when Gary reposted the URL. I've revised the file name without the spaces in the file name. See if this is better:

    That works ... but it is only 36 seconds of the music... it stops mid-phrase.

    Yeah, that's it. It was done to support an animated e-card. It's short and sweet. It's what I had and thought I would go ahead and enter it.
