    Sonar 7/Garritan Marching Band

I'm trying to work out some Trombone Duets and using the Garritan
Marching/Concert Band set. When I load the project into Sonar, load the
Kontakt2 player with the Solo Trombone 1 and Solo Trombone 2, it plays fine
the first time but if I stop or go back to the beginning after playing it
thru, Kontakt shows signal coming in on channel 1 and 2 like it's supposed
to, but I don't get the Trombone samples played. I have to delete them and
then re-add them in order to get the one time playthru.

Anyone else run into this - even if it isn't the Garritan set?

    Thanks!

Make sure you record some CC1 (Modulation) data before you start recording each track. If not, then it's probably setting itself to 0 which will cause no sound. You will get the best results from the library by constantly riding CC1 for more dynamics.

CC1 can be recorded by moving the modwheel or it can be drawn in with the mouse in the Piano Roll View (PRV).

Also, go to Options > Project > MIDI Out and uncheck "Zero Controllers when play stops" and enable "Controller Searchback."

Bingo! That seems to have done it.

    Thanks Guys!
