    Key Ranges from Keyboard?

Hi everybody. I moved this post from the GPO Techniques forum (since this applies to the KP2 player in GPO, JABB and CoMB) thinking there might be a solution here.

I am trying to limit Key Ranges on some instruments that I am layering. I understand how to do it manually in KontaktPlayer2 from Instrument Options>Instrument Tab> Key Range, BUT in the manual (pp26 GPO Version 2) it says I can double click the value field to enter a note from my keyboard. When I double click the value field it is highlighted, but when I enter a note from my keyboard nothing happens (in either field). Sound is being produced from KP2, MIDI is being generated and read by KP2. This occurs with KP2 as a standalone as well as in SONAR. Is the keyboard input for Key Ranges implemented? What could I be doing wrong? I feel I'm missing something simple. All help appreciated.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

    Hi Reberclark -

I just tried it using GPO as a VSTi in Sonar. I couldn't get it to work either.
