Mark Salman has done an excellent rendition of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.
Jamie has taken Mark's MIDI file and rendered a short 3D animated movie with the Player Perspective of the Garritan Authorized Steinway Professional Version. This is all done with the SOFT PEDAL (una corda).
Here is the animated movie
Mark Salman, a nationally recognized Steinway artist, began his piano studies at the age of eight and made his recital debut at eleven. He has performed around the world and is a graduate of the Juilliard School, studied with Richard Fabre and Josef Raieff, was a winner of the Young Musician's Award, and his 1989 New York debut recital was at Carnegie Hall.
Georgeous work Mark! And many thanks to Jamie and DPDan too.
PS: Houston has also done an excellent excerpt of the same piece using the Classic perspective played with the Vellotti/Young tuning and a concert pitch of A422 (Dresden):
