I'm writing down my thoughts while I'm listening to it...
Is this the way you improvise, David?!?
Is this the music you can take out from yourself, through those hands that suffered and suffer so much?!?!?
I had my jaws dropped since the first notes... and they could have been like that even now, if I didn't realized it...
There aren't enough words for to describe how endlessly beautiful this improvisation sounds and is... it's deep, intense... classical and modern, jazz-like and lyrical... and the complexity of your musical thinking is there as much as in your most meditated compositions...

If you want, if you can, when you want, when you can... feel free to grace us with other gifts like this one!

For someone like me, who has only the ability to interpret other people's work, listening to pieces like this bring feelings of intense envy.

Though you say that your technique is rusty, I cannot hear it. For improvising, this piece is lovely. I do hope that you feel comfortable playing more often.

I love Scriabin and your sir are a real Scriabin. This is a master piece. Now I know what it is like to have been in the audience when Chopin improvised. Thanks for that wonderful experience. Brilliant and inspiring.

I have not touch the piano in months. I have not written in months. I am empty inside of all music, so I just sit and play World of Warcraft for hours on end. The music is beautiful, but noting inspires me. Your improvisation has indeed inspired me.

This is a great improvisation! Very sensitively played with a
contemplative and expressive sound. If I should compare it stylistically
I would probably think of Szymanowski or something similar
(or Scriabin with a slightly modernistic touch), but the sound is still very genuine.

One of the pleasures of listening to improvisation is that you
hear the player thinking, working at extricating himself from
the corners he gets into.

And there were quite a lot of corners in this little piece... lol.
