Topic: Tuning the Steinway

    Tuning the Steinway

Doesn't seem to work. The only thing I can do is adjusting for the region.
No loading of whatever tuning scale, Werckmeister or such.
Of course Coarse and Fine tuning knobs work.

Yet to be implemented or an installation error?

    Tuning the Steinway

it becomes weird. I cannot Tune (loading another tuning file) while the Steinway is loaded as VST in Sonar. Only as freestanding program it is possible.

    Re: Tuning the Steinway

On some occasions there is a graphical bug where the selected scale will not show up in the box (which will be left at "01 - equal" - even though internally, the tuning did change), but that bug is already sorted out in our current internal ARIA versions.

The pitch differences on many scales is quite subtle, with a typical maximum of +-12 cents per key in the scale on some intervals. Also if you play middle C only you will never notice any pitch difference as its the default detuning "center"

So for a test, Try leaving center as C5, load werckmeisterIII and play the F# right of the Center C5.
You should distinctly hear the -12 cent applied to it.
( 588.27000 cent up from C5, instead of the 600 cent when using 01-equal)
