    "Alexander's Brass/Wind Band"

    I wrote "Alexander's Brass/Wind Band" today.

Instrumentation: Two trumpets and one each "French" horn, 'bone, tuba, flute, oboe, Bb clarinet and bassoon.

Don't go to sleep during the first part. Things pick up at the 01:50 mark.

    Regards to everyone,

    Larry,

I didn't. (Go to sleep in the first part.) Beautiful
opening, and just the right leader to take us
gradually into the more fluidly energetic latter
    sections.

As always, you and the winds make a great team.

    Best,

    David

    Mr Larry

You do have a way with the winds.

I guess you had to get this one out before the winds get to you. At least I assume they are headed your way.

    Well done

I went to sleep writing it. Old people do that a lot.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment.

Weather forecasters say that we will receive from six to twelve inches of rain from the hurricane along with strong winds. It's raining now and getting more intense by the minute!

Thanks for listening to "...Brass/Wind Band", Mr. Ron. It's always good to hear from you.

    Regards,

    Larry

I sort of spaced out on the first part and then the faster part caught my attention. I took a second listen and the first part is very nice. I guess you caught my ear off guard with something a little different from you.

    Another good one for sure!
