    Talking Saxaphone Quartet-JUST FOR FUN!!

    Hey,

I just woke up to a beautiful sunny day with blue skies and not a cloud in sight.
I imediatly booted up my PC and began writing a fun little tune for sax quartet.
    Any comments are welcome

I hope this brightens up your day

    Well, by cracky, I've got the very same day, here;
and I just woke up to it, myself (yes, yes, I know,
it's nearly one in the afternoon...).

Fun indeed, and well done, Dan... bright, energetic,
    and well put together.

Dan, you might also try this for brass -- I think it
    would work quite nicely.

    Well done!

    My best,

    David

    Dan:

A "merry" little ditty. Reminds me of a merry-go-round.
It really describes, though, the type of mood you were
in when you wrote it. Don't you wish you could "bottle"
that feeling and dispense it at will at other times?

    Entertaining listen, Dan

I think we all would love to ''bottle'' that feeling

Hi Dan. A very joyful tune. The role played by each instrument is well defined and you find something like an old carnival mood one hundred years ago in a summer day, a carrousel music with its horses and an entertainer inviting the children to enjoy the game.

Not quite the circus, but a carnival fits well.

As David said,. this would go well with brass as well. An accordian all by its lonesome would also have fun with this.

    Nice piece

I will definatly explore the posibility of Brass and maybe continuing this with a follow-up possibly extending into a suite
