Allegro Con Moto, Symphonic Suite No. 1 for Bassoon

The first movement to my Symphonic Suite No. 1 for Bassoon. Mvt 1 is Allegro Con Moto. It's an enjoyable little tune. Movement 2 is on its way.
This song is written for my girlfriend Charlotte. She plays bassoon bassoon and contra bassoon.

Tuba:

A marvelous tribute to Charlotte. I'm sure she is delighted
with your talent and special piece that you dedicated to her.

A well-written composition in the early Classical tradition.

My only criticism would be that the key might be a little low
as the soloist seems to have some difficulty with the extremely
low notes. Although, the instrument does have a nice quality.

HI Tuba - I'm having fun seeking out slightly older posts which perhaps didn't get a very wide audience.

It seems so rare to hear something from you, so this morning I dove at this post. Then I was rewarded with what I think is a very unique, unpredictable piece. It kept me off-balance, - and I liked being prodded that way.

Early Classical--? Early Romantic--? - Those designations surprise me. Much too free-form for me to think of music that old.

hehe--I wonder what Fredrik was listening to--he said it was nice to hear a real Tuba. - ? - I remember when you've posted pieces with a real Tuba, but --maybe there's another link on your post I didn't notice?

Anyway--Thanks for the music. Charlotte must be pleased.
