I installed with the "change location" option as shown in the video on DVD1.

I called a new folder "Spectrasonics Instruments" on my ext drive.

I then went through all the DVDs and did the same choosing that folder with each installer.

All installed, but when I look at my ext drive I also see another new folder called "Library" which contains everything else apart from the STEAM folder.

ext_drive/Library/Application Support/Digidesign
ext_drive/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Componnents this has the AU inside
ext_drive/Library/Receipts and there are all the disc receipts

the funny thing is it's also in my Library folder on my OS drive, I've been and double checked all the same data was written twice.
I then moved the Library folder (size 1.2MB) on my ext drive and Omnisphere runs fine in Logic 8.

I then downloaded the updates and they need to be installed to the same place as first installation (ext drive/Spectrasonics Instruments), this works but again it creates a folder called Library/Receipts with 2 .pkg files (the ones I've just ran).

It is safe to delete this Library folder again containing the receipts? and can I permanently delete the original Library (1.2MB) folder it created as everything seems to be working?

Great product BTW, sounds fantastic and very easy to navigate and understand.
