    Omnisphere update gone wrong!

    Hi all

After downloading the Omnisphere update and the Atmosphere libraries I have found that the Omnisphere interface has lost the Omnisphere library. I can now only access the Atmosphere sounds and the 'Taste Of Omnisphere' bonus library. All the original Omnisphere sounds have gone. I have noticed that on a previous song I opened up I can still play the Omnisphere sounds that were part of the multi when it loaded but they are not visible in the patch browser and clicking on the + icon to get patch info gives you a blank window with 'empty' written in it.

    anyone else found this?

Im using it in Logic 8

It looks like i've fixed it. After forcing it through the au manager a few times it seems to have come good. The Omnisphere library now appears in the Directory whereas it didnt before.

In the upper left of the patch browser is a directory menu. Try selecting "Omnisphere Library".

Worked perfectly the first time in Logic 7.2.3 on a new Mac Pro. Nice to have all those sounds back with this new engine. Soooo much faster and more useable for me. Thanks Spectra. : >

Also, it's working fine in Logic 8 too. OSX 10.5.5, 6GB Ram.

Re. new updates: Utility> Reference Guide creates an exception error in Cubase 4.5.2 every time I've tried it. Was working perfectly before the update was applied, so something that wasn't 'broken' now is. Also, at first, Atmosphere Library wouldn't show up no matter what I did, but this issue seems to have been resolved somehow (fingers crossed)................playz

I have the same deal..... A Taste of Omnisphere and the Atmosphere library is all I get. What do I need to do..restart, repair permissions, trash some prefs?

Yes - this is happening here too - Cubase 4.5.2 - PC - XP sp2

    Bo

    Edit:

I just tried open Omnisphere in Chainer - and the same thing happens here. So it has notting to do with Cubase.
