    Omnisphere 1.0.1d Reference Guide problem

After the update to 1.0.1d - I get an exception error in Cubase 4.5.2 every time I've try to open the Reference Guide.

However - this also happens if I open omnisphere in Chainer, so I don't think this is a Cubase problem.

It was working fine before the update -

So it looks like something is broken in 1.0.1d - regarding the Reference Guide.

    Best regards
    Bo

We'll have this sorted out as soon as possible. I posted the workaround that I mentioned in the other thread in the FAQs at support.spectrasonics.net.

Yes I get the same, and it did work before the update here as well.

    Hey Glenn

    Thanks for the fast responce.
However - I'm not sure you understand the problem.
This is not about missing Patch/Library - but about "crash" when you try to open the Reference Guide

    Ups - sorry
I thought you was talking about this thread http://www.northernsounds.com/forum/...ad.php?t=63018 where I mention this problem.

Will check out the "workaround" in the Spectrasonics FAQ section as soon as I leave this forum. Glad this problem has been confirmed and that you are working on it. Just FYI and for confirmation I posted this in another thread this morning: "Re. new updates: Utility> Reference Guide creates an exception error in Cubase 4.5.2 every time I've tried it. Was working perfectly before the update was applied, so something that wasn't 'broken' now is."
Cubase 7.0.3, Wavelab 7.1, Omnisphere, Trilian, Stylus RMX, Symphobia 1 & 2 , all Spitfire libraries, LASS 2, Requiem Pro, Voxos, Superior Drummer 2, Komplete 8, Cinematic Guitars, most EW libraries, Chris Hein Horns, Guitar & Bass, 2.8 GHz Mac Pro, 18 GB RAM, OS 10.6.8, RME Multiface II + HDSP PCIe

Questions for anyone having the problem with a crash on windows accessing the Reference Guide or the Check for Updates feature:

Do you have a c:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Temp folder? If so, what is in that folder?

    Hi Glenn

I don't have that folder but I found a rhurltemp file in Windows/temp.
I'm having the identical problem, by the way (in ProTools 7.4)...and wasn't before the update.
