    Re: S.O.S from Iceland

It's heating up in Iceland... today there was about 5 thousand people protesting in Reykjavik - which is alot in Icelandic scale. Eggs was thrown into the parliament building and one person was arrested for putting up a flag of store, which is owned by one of the business men which are partly responsible for our terrible situation today, on the parliament building.

Another protest is scheduled next Saturday and I'm sure we will see twice as many people then. People of Iceland are just now starting to understand how serious this collapse is for their life and livelihood!

Styxx, hopefully it looks great on your wall!

I'm working alot to expand my print offerings but I would like to ask if those who bought a print would like to take picture of it and send me or share it to the world. I'm trying to gather kind of "showcase" of the quality and how my prints looks in real life.

Again thank you all very much for your kind words and support!

Ps. the situation here in Iceland is kind of status quo because the currency is in "life support" by the IMF and our central bank. The currency rate is though better than it was when it was in its worst shape, however people are nervous about what will happen when the "life support" will be shut down and our currency will go again on free market.
    Sincerely,

They will stick you in the Euro whether you like or not if it gets out of hand completely.

    Question Re: S.O.S from Iceland

falc, I made a big mistake by not ordering it framed. My wife insisted she had a frame for it so I didn't order one. Well, the frame she was thinking of doesn't do the picture any justice. Can I still order a frame?

Hope everything is getting better for you.

Styxx, I don't think you can order frame without photo from my vendor. Probably the best way is to find someone locally to do the framing for you, or maybe there are some store there which sells correct frame size for the print you ordered.

Thankfully I'm still ok in every way and hopefully I will stay like that during these strange times.

    Re: S.O.S from Iceland

Unfortunately the only framers around here are the local house builders and they're all out of woik!

Yeah, I thought I should have purchased it framed. Regardless though, did I tell you you do absolutely wonderful work? The picture looked great on line but when I received and opened the package (tube), my wife and I were totally surprised at how vivid it is! Almost hear the water and smell the fresh outside ... wait ... that's not ... is it?

We go up on the site every now and then. My wife is thinking of purchasing for our livink room, dinning, and bedroom. I'll make sure I order framed though.

    Cool Re: S.O.S from Iceland

Styxx, I'm sure you find someone with good framing hands around you.

Hehe... it's great to hear that you both enjoy the print and yes it's true that the images online doesn't tell the whole story. It's different (and better) experience to see a well made print than seeing it on computer screen.

If you decide to purchase more (framed) prints then please send me some pictures of it, I love to see my photographs on people's walls and/or tables.

Dan, yup I try to keep my chin up... it has gone ok so far.
    Sincerely,
    Falcon1
