Ern makes a good point about compassion. One of the things that makes this community different is that members care for and help each other.

Stefan has been a member here for a number of years. He has witnessed us forum members pitching in and helping each other during time of need and crisis.

Stefan has donated money and provided support when others were in need. Now it's Stefan's time of need. Iceland is experiencing a meltdown of its economy. I'm glad he feels he is able to call upon us even if only asking to help support his art.

Many of us are going through difficult times and things may get worse before they get better. I hope we'll help each other through this.

In my short stay on this and other forums - I think this forum communication stuff can be very hard biz. Of course life can be intrinsically tough too. But too friendship and communication is Much easier face to face.

Yes you can learn a lot here. But dont pay tooo much attention to the futurists. What still really counts are your real friends and these 'empires' being assiduously built by various forum addicts on the net, are by and large the product of bored, lonely imaginations.

I think your pictures, like your country, are just beautiful! I'll be placing an order as soon as I've had time to view them and make a decision. It won't be much, but it'll be something.

UPDATE! Today the government of Iceland enforced stricht limitation of using foreign currencies. That means that I now can't go into bank to buy/sell currency over 100 EURO's ! Thank God for Paypal because through that I will, with your support, be able to continue my websites!

Update (unconfirmed): I have heard that people here are having difficulty to use their credit cards online, so Amazon etc. seems to be out for Icelanders.
PayPal keeps me still alive!
