Meaning of Syrian phrases in 'Voices of Passion'?

I plan to use the syrian phrases in the background score of a movie (which has muslim protagonists). But I wouldnt want the phrases to be totally out of context.

Is there anywhere I can find the meaning of the phrases?

This was asked on the EW forum some time ago and at least then, they didn't know what the phrases meant. I think it was Nick Phoenix that said that they weren't meant to be used like lyrics, but just for creating the impression of that (something to that effect).

I'd say they're probably just your standard phrases - 'Death to Islam' and 'Mohamed wore dresses.'

    (sorry, couldn't resist)

Maybe, if you don't have any luck here, you could ask that question over there - in the off chance that someone may have found a person to interpret them. Or that they have since somehow found out what they mean.

I tried to post a link but part of the URL is getting deleted when I post it. I guess I'm not supposed to do that.
