    Anne Of Bonney Lake

Here's a short Garritan Steinway Piano number. It seems to have a different feel to it.

I must say that was quite pleasant to listen to. Very nicely done.

It was quite a short piece and I did wish it were longer, but other than that it was beautiful.

Thanks for the nice words HongKong CV.

The person it was written for requested that I should just leave it as is.

I might expand on this as I did another piano number last year, coming from different directions.

    Very nice.

    Sometimes shorter is better.

    Well done

Nice tune, Phil. Is that original, or is it a folk song ? Also, are those sort of background sustained sounds just the effect of holding down the pedal, or something else ?

    Best Regards,

    Jack

Yes, also as in dating when you can depart on friendly terms.

    Thanks for the comments.

It's an original that does have some folk song elements.

That's a snyth pad with female voices and effects.

    I'm glad you liked it.

    Phil,

While short is nice, this does feel as though it could be developed/expanded. But it is very lovely as it is. Almost missed the synth voices - had to listen again (had to crank up the speakers).

The simplicity of this is quite effective - that is not an easy thing to achieve.

    Really enjoyed this!

I want to do more with it but I have more project ideas than time right now. Yes, I put it way back in the mix to add a just slight atmosphere.

I'm basically a minimalist so usually I try to keep interest with the fewest notes possible. I prefer Clapton over Hendrix, ect.

    I'm glad you enjoyed it.
