    Gary,

Very nice, very brassy arrangement of this timeless work. It indeed needs this kind of support to come off with all the power and majesty that it truely deserves.

    Thanks for listening, Gary.
I discovered that I did a brass arrangement of this year, which
indicates that when I think Christmas Brass, I think of this song.
I discovered the Brass Band set-up in my FINALE 09.
It employs an Eb Cornet & a repiano(?) cornet along with 3 cornets,
flugal horn, baritones, trombones, Eb tuba and tuba. Quite a variety of brass color.

A exhilarating arrangement for sure. I sure do like brass pieces during the holidays.

It sounded fine. I did notice some distortion coming from the left speaker at the very beginning and at 2:02. You might want to check that out.

    A enjoyable effort.

    Thanks for listening, Phil.
My big thing is listening for wrong notes, mixed-up rhythm
patterns and balance. The finer aspects related to final presentation sometimes alludes me.

Strong, interesting arrangement, Gary. Of particular
note, there's some very nice counter-line work in
    this.

    Best,

    Thanks for listening, David.
I have recently had an epiphany!
    Simple usually "trumps" complex.
The counterpoint was so innocent it mostly went unnoticed.
