    Need some advice!

I have got enquiry about licensing some of my video I've posted on youtube.com to a cable tv station in the US. But they are asking about what my fee would be but I don't know what is normal to ask for there in the US... do you know the rates or know somebody who does? And is the rates for per minute or per second?

Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
    Sincerely,
    Falcon1

I would just say $100,000,000.00, and see how they respond.

Then just go from there. That's what I always do. Maybe I need a new strategy...

I don't know about video but in audio, if I am publishing stuff myself, I usually sell my Mechanical Rights for $1.00 (I figure it's almost free distribution and advertising) and make up the money thru BMI licensing on performances/playings/film use etc. Maybe I need a new business plan too...
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.
